Formed in 1947, Talbot Designs is one of the most established acrylic fabricators in the UK.

We constantly strive to exceed our customers’ expectations and always rise to a challenge. Our motto is “Only limited by Imagination” and we endeavour to maintain this open minded approach to all our projects. The management team consists of Richard Woolff, our Managing Director and Charles Woolff, our Chairman. Richard is the third generation of the family to be involved in the plastics industry and Richard and Charles bring over 60 years of knowledge with them. They are supported by Peter Sharp (Technical/Production Director) and Shane Alam (Project Manager) who have a great network of managers and staff to support them in their daily challenges.

We have a programme of constant investment so that we keep-up-to-date with the latest machinery and technology. We are always investing in manpower to enable us to satisfy all our clients requirements We can lay claim to many world firsts. We hold the record for the largest filled beer bottle ever made and this record still stands. We made the first all acrylic staircase, we have made one of the largest mirrors ever used on the stage.

We work with designers all across the world to achieve the almost impossible and have had worldwide acclaim for some of the projects we have been involved in. We have a strong culture of retaining our staff as they are our strength and recently celebrated the retirement of one employee after 49 years. Our Technical Director has been working with us for over 35 years and many of our staff have been working with us since they left school many years ago. This culture generates a real sense of "being part of something" and is reflected in the attention to detail and care everyone brings to the company every day.
