Since 1985, we’ve drawn on our many years of technical experience to design and install mobility products including stairlifts, scooters, riser/recliners, wheelchairs, bath lifts and living aids to individuals and councils all over the North West covering Lancashire, Cumbria and Yorkshire.
Multicare stairlifts and Mobility Specialists was created 25 years ago by local lads (Colne, Lancashire) Martin Baldwin and John Metcalfe who had been childhood friends.
We focus on supplying high quality but affordable products both new and pre-used, and offers easy payment options and rental schemes to assist our customers with this.
During our 25 year history, we’ve grown significantly increasing from 2 to 16 full-time employees and in 1995 the company moved into its own purpose-built unit on North Valley Road, Colne, with a large showroom and plenty of customer parking including spacious disabled bays.
Something that has not changed over the past 25 years is our commitment to delivering the highest standards of customer care. We believe in “good old fashioned customer service” where nothing is ever too much trouble. There is always someone at the end of the phone to personally see an enquiry through and our service lines are open 24/7. We pride ourselves on going the extra mile offering services such as customer collection to bring them to the showroom.
